Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2022, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.5% compared to 2021, reaching 20.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.2%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.6% (from 18.7% in 2017).
