Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2022, Ireland's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.5% compared to 2021, reaching 53.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 34.2%.

Ireland ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.5% (from 46.5% in 2017).
