Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2022, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.6% compared to 2021, reaching 83.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 87.4%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 80.6% in 2017).
