Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2023, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.1% compared to 2022, reaching 84.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 87.6%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 81.2% in 2018).
