At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.7% compared to 2023, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.9% (from 14.5% in 2019).
