At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 2023, reaching 24.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Luxembourg ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 24.8% in 2019).
