At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2018, reaching 20.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Latvia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 19.5% in 2014).
