Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2015, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 5.8% compared to 2014, reaching 19,387.

Latvia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.4% (from 25,659 in 2010).
