Population structure indicators at national level

In 1998, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 1997, reaching 37.1.

Latvia ranks 12th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 35.4 in 1993).
