Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2022, reaching 43.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.5.

Latvia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 43.3 in 2018).
