Population structure indicators at national level

In 1997, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.1% compared to 1996, reaching 23.8.

Latvia ranks 15th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.5% (from 20.6 in 1992).
