Population structure indicators at national level

In 2004, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.3% compared to 2003, reaching 27.0.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 26.8.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.8% (from 24.6 in 1999).
