Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.2% compared to 2004, reaching 27.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 27.2.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.3% (from 24.8 in 2000).
