Population structure indicators at national level

In 2006, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.8% compared to 2005, reaching 28.1.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 27.7.

Latvia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.5% (from 25.2 in 2001).
