Population structure indicators at national level

In 2012, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2011, reaching 30.1.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 29.5.

Latvia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.9% (from 28.7 in 2007).
