Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2014, Latvia's main indicators increased by 4.8% compared to 2013, reaching 51.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.6%.

Latvia ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.7% (from 41.9% in 2009).
