Final energy consumption in transport by type of fuel

In 2021, Latvia's final energy consumption in transport by type of fuel increased by 3.0% compared to 2020, reaching 1,077.

Latvia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 1,034 in 2016).
