Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2004, Latvia's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 10.6% compared to 2003, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.2% (from 17.8% in 1999).
