Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2009, Latvia's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.0% compared to 2008, reaching 25.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.9%.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.3% (from 19.8% in 2004).
