In 2015, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 18.1% compared to 2014, reaching 501.

Latvia ranks 25th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 67.4% (from 1,535 in 2010).
