Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 14.9% compared to 2017, reaching 7.4%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 7.4%.

Latvia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 37.8% (from 11.9% in 2013).
