Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 14.9% compared to 2018, reaching 6.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.8%.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 42.2% (from 10.9% in 2014).
