Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2011, Lithuania's population change increased by 1.0% compared to 2010, reaching 10.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Lithuania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.9% (from 9.1 in 2006).
