Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1965, Lithuania's population change increased by 6.8% compared to 1964, reaching 7.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Lithuania ranks 25th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 7.8 in 1960).
