Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1970, Lithuania's population change increased by 2.3% compared to 1969, reaching 8.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.4.

Lithuania ranks 22nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.7% (from 7.9 in 1965).
