In 2021, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 53.3% compared to 2020, reaching 705.

Lithuania ranks 14th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 41.9% (from 497 in 2016).
