Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1982, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1981, reaching 70.9.

Lithuania ranks 12th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.1% (from 71.0 in 1977).
