Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1982, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.5% compared to 1981, reaching 75.8.

Lithuania ranks 10th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.4% (from 75.5 in 1977).
