Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1991, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex decreased by 0.4% compared to 1990, reaching 76.0.

Lithuania ranks 15th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 76.4 in 1986).
