Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1995, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1994, reaching 75.1.

Lithuania ranks 20th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 76.3 in 1990).
