Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1990, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 1989, reaching 66.4.

Lithuania ranks 19th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 65.6 in 1985).
