Population structure indicators at national level

In 2002, Lithuania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 4.2% compared to 2001, reaching 24.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 26.3.

Lithuania ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.8% (from 21.8 in 1997).
