Housing cost overburden rate by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Lithuania's housing cost overburden rate by poverty status increased by 19.2% compared to 2023, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.2%.

Lithuania ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 29.2% (from 4.8% in 2019).
