Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 2.8% compared to 2024, reaching 6.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.0%.

Lithuania ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.8% (from 8.5% in 2020).
