Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age increased by 2.9% compared to 2023, reaching 7.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 5.9%.

Lithuania ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.7% (from 6.3% in 2019).
