At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2011, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.1% compared to 2010, reaching 20.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 19.6% in 2006).
