In 2024, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by sex decreased by 10.5% compared to 2023, reaching 9.40.

Luxembourg accounts for 56.6% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Luxembourg ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 9.30 in 2019).
