In 2021, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 17.1% compared to 2020, reaching 9.60.

Luxembourg accounts for 57.8% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Luxembourg ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 9.30 in 2016).
