Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Luxembourg's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.8% compared to 2017, reaching 5.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.4%.

Luxembourg ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.1% (from 5.9% in 2013).
