Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1967, Malta's population change increased by 5.5% compared to 1966, reaching 9.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Malta ranks 15th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.1% (from 8.8 in 1962).
