Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2006, Malta's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.7% compared to 2005, reaching 14.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.4%.

Malta ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.6% (from 12.5% in 2001).
