Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Malta's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 0.7% compared to 2006, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.3%.

Malta ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.6% (from 12.3% in 2002).
