Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.7% compared to 1995, reaching 35.1.

Malta ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 33.2 in 1991).
