Population structure indicators at national level

In 1997, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 1996, reaching 35.4.

Malta ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 33.5 in 1992).
