Population structure indicators at national level

In 1998, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 1997, reaching 35.7.

Malta ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 33.8 in 1993).
