Population structure indicators at national level

In 1997, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 4.2% compared to 1996, reaching 19.7.

Malta ranks 24th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.8% (from 18.1 in 1992).
