Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.2% compared to 1995, reaching 18.9.

Malta ranks 26th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 17.9 in 1991).
