Population structure indicators at national level

In 1999, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 1998, reaching 20.1.

Malta ranks 23rd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.2% (from 18.4 in 1994).
