Population structure indicators at national level

In 1999, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 1998, reaching 26.2.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 24.6 in 1994).
