Population structure indicators at national level

In 2015, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.1% compared to 2014, reaching 29.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.6.

Malta ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.9% (from 23.6 in 2010).
